KIDS PLUS Youth Leadership Academy

On Saturday, May 19, Animal Rescue Federation (ARF) was honored to have KIDS PLUS Youth Leadership Academy complete their yearlong experience in community service at our shelter. The ninth graders performed cleaning, painting, and maintenance at the ARF Care & Adoption Center under the guidance of ARF staff members, adult mentors, and Northland Foundation staff. Students participating in the event were: Anna Anklam, Echo Banks, Danni Beckwell, Rikki Berchild, Ryan Bick, Andrew Bronson, Justin Cannon, Heather Crist, Nathan Dalbec, Tessa Ender, Kayla Ford, Brent Frazier, Kayla Gobin, Emily Grills, Elyse Gunderson, Kyle Ilenda, Abby Johnson, Paige Johnson, Faydra Lagro, Sarah McGrath, Danielle McGraw, Helena Miller, Carlissa Nyman, Kevin Olson, Allie Quick, Emma Radtke, Kelcie Rickstrom, Alex Robertson, David Sanda, Debbie Shadrin, Carrie Slick, Spencer Szymonowicz, Karlie Thomas, Kelsey Thompson, Nokomis Tribbey, Victor Turkowski, Yer Vang, Branden Vicklun, Corbin Walsh, Trevor Whitaker, Zach Wohlwend, Calvin Wong, David Zastrow.

Donors for the event were Super One - Superior - rolls, donuts, juices, and fruit, Sherwin Williams,Paint for the reception area and bathroom, Superior Paint - 4 gallons of paint, Campbell's Lumber - shelving materials for garage, Target - $25 gift certificate, Godfather's Pizza - 10 Pizzas, McDonalds - juice. Holmes Bakery - 120 cookies, Enbridge - $100 (used for supplies), Wal-Mart - matching funds for bake sale (used for supplies).
